Tom Godleski- Lead Vocals, Bass & Harmonica
Born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, Tom had the opportunity to attend the Mountain Dance and Folk Festival where he developed a love for mountain music. Tom was influenced by the early recordings of music legends Johnny Cash, Doc Watson, John Denver, and later Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp. Tom began his musical career at the age of 29 when he and his high school friend, James Hembree, began performing in various contry, rock, blues, and bluegrass bands. Tom’s”solid” occupation is as a kindergarten teacher assistant at Claxton Elementary School in Asheville, but he also owns a small lawn mowing business, as well as playing in the band. Tom's talents are, vocalist, songwriter, bassist, and harmonica player. Tom's other interests are woodcarving, landscaping, writing short stories, story telling, and rock work. Tom resides with his high school sweetheart, Terri, on the property where he grew up in Asheville. They have two grown sons, Taylor and Bryan.






Tony Reece - Resophonic Guitar
Tony Reece is a Boone North Carolina native that has emerged as a subtle yet powerful musical force in the Western North Carolina area. He has been a part of the music scene there for many years. Tony has recently been receiving more widespread recognition, and won First Place in the 2004 Annual Resonator Guitar National Championship.
Tony's style and repertoire includes an eclectic mix ranging from Celtic, to classical, to southern rock, rock and roll, and bluegrass. His contemplative style touches the heart and reaches deeper to those who hear him. You cannot help but be moved by the feeling that comes through him and his instrument. "My only real goal in my playing is to touch someone who may be listening," says Tony. "Music is a true form of communication that all human beings can understand."
Tony has performed and jammed on-stage at area venues including MerleFest, Doc Days Music Fest, Carolina in the Fall Festival, and many other events and gatherings.


Darrell Earwood
Darrell is a native of Asheville, N.C. Being the youngest of a family of five musicians, he was influenced by many great local pickers that regularly attended Saturday night jam sessions his parents hosted.Darrell's other influences were Kenny Baker, Chet Atkins, and Bobby Thompson. Darrell joined Buncombe Turnpike in August 2004 as the band's guitar player. After taking a break from the group, Darrell has now returned as the band's banjo player. He makes his home in Fairview, N.C. with his wife Tammie, teenage daughter Megan, and his beloved pair of Jack Russell Terriers.
